IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Andre
Stanberry
October 3, 1967 – December 1, 2025
Obituary
Andre Nathaniel Stanberry, better known as "Dre," passed over to a new life on December 1, 2025. He was born on October 3, 1967, to the late Willie and Marie Stanberry in Jacksonville, Florida. The youngest of 13 children, Andre attended the local schools in Jacksonville, Florida. He moved to Ann Arbor, Michigan in the early 2000s and later returned to Florida to be near his family.
He mastered many trades and skills, being the son of a professional brick mason. Andre was employed by UF Health Hospital and took great pride in never missing a day of work. Andre deeply loved his family, remaining very close to his sisters, brothers, nephews, nieces, and beloved children.
Andre left his earthly home on December 1, 2025. He is preceded in death by his parents, Willie and Marie Stanberry; brothers Larry and James (Boobie) Stanberry; sister Dorothy (Dot) Rasberry; and nephew Zabian Anthony.
Andre leaves to cherish his precious memory: daughter Tamara Walthour; son Jereimah Witherspoon (Tenia); grandchildren Serenity, Kylie, Cherish, Elise, Jahson, Tamani, Zy'ir, Andre, and DJ; brothers Johnnie (Barbara), George, Charles (Sharon), Eric (Paula), and Robert Stanberry; sisters Marguerite S. Williams, Maxine, Kathleen, and Ruth Stanberry; and many nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
We are profoundly grateful to God for the gift of Andre's life and for the love, laughter, and light he shared with each of us. Though he left us far too soon, his memory will forever remain in our hearts.
