Ms. Areatha B. Sabb-Hopper, 92 made her heavenly transition on November 14, 2022 surrounded by her loving family. Celebration of life service will be held Tuesday, November 222, 2022 at Abyssinia Missionary Baptist Church, Rev. Dr. Eugene W. Diamond, pastor. She was a member of Abyssinia Mass Choir and member of District # 16. Areatha was employed by Duval County School Board for 25 years and 8 years with the Foster Grandparent Programs. She is survived by 4 daughters, Ethel, Deborah, Mary (Allye) and Cynthia; 12 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and 13 great great grandchildren; brother, James Sabb, Jr.; and a host of relatives and many friend. Visitation will be held at the mortuary on November 21, 2022 from 4-7 PM. Interment in Evergreen Cemetery.
