Eric L. Brown was a native of Jacksonville, born to the union of James and Estelle Brown December 17 1958. He attended Eastside schools such as R.L Brown, Matthew W Gilbert and attended Alford I Dupont briefly on the southside. Eric graduated from Andrew Jackson Sr High in 1977. He was employed at The Hilton Jacksonville in the late 1970's and then The Omni Hotel Jacksonville in 1987 where he retired from the hospitality business as a bellman trainer/concierge. Eric was a former member of Faith Deliverance Church of God under the leadership of Bishop James Parris Sr. and then Pastor James Parris, Jr. Eric became a member of Bridegroom Apostolic Church in 1998 under the leadership of Bishop Arden L. Luster, Sr.  where he and his wife were installed October 6, 2013 as Associate Pastor's.  Eric leaves behind his wife of 41 years Veldrena L. Brown. Children: Erica Lachelle Brown, Eric Lamont Brown, Jr, Latarsha Everett, Derrick Campbell. Sisters Betty Jones, Pearl Miller (Obie). Brother Willie James Brown (Arlene). Grand children, nieces and nephews, aunts and uncle , cousins and friends.
