With heartfelt reverence and solemn grace, we commemorate the life of Chad Gerard Hall, a beloved son of God whose earthly journey began on April 18, 1972, in Jacksonville, Florida, and whose spirit took its heavenly flight on May 4, 2026, in the same cherished city. In the tapestry of life sewn with faith and perseverance, Chad’s story is one of dedication, joy, and a legacy that bridges both family and community.
Born into a family deeply rooted in faith and fellowship, Chad was blessed with an infectious smile and humor that reflected the light of the Lord Himself, bringing joy and comfort to all who crossed his path. His academic journey was marked by diligence and excellence as he graduated from Jean Ribault High School in 1990, distinguishing himself as a multi-sport stand out—a testament to the strength and discipline endowed upon him by God. Furthering his commitment to growth and service, he attained a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Shaw University in 1994, a beacon of accomplishment and faith in action.
Chad’s life vocation was deeply intertwined with his faith and brotherhood. He served faithfully as a proud member of the International Longshoreman Association Local 141 of Savannah, Georgia. Beyond his professional commitments, his fellowship was enriched by his proudest accomplishment: his membership in the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, a brotherhood known not only for its distinguished service but as a testament to the bonds forged through faith and shared purpose.
Chad leaves behind a living testimony of love and faith, blessedly survived by his devoted son, Matthias Hall; his cherished parents, Deacon Edward Hall and Dr. Dolores Hall, whose prayers and guidance have been his steadfast anchor; and his cherished siblings — Edward O. Hall, Edward Ronnie Hall and his wife Audrey, Darryl Hall, Kelvin Hall, and Tesia Hill and her husband Rod. The family circle further extends to beloved aunts and uncles Edward Levy and Sandra Donawa, along with nieces and nephews Nicholle, Adrienne, Dorian, Dallas, Everett, and Nathaniel, each a reflection of God’s abundant blessings through Chad’s heritage.
In moments of sorrow, we find solace in divine promises. As Scripture reminds us in Psalm 34:18, “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” We celebrate Chad’s life knowing he has entered into eternal rest, embraced by the everlasting arms of the Savior.
May the legacy of Chad Gerard Hall shine forth as a beacon of faith, love, and joyful service, inspiring all who knew him to walk in the light of Christ until the glorious day when all saints shall rise to meet Him. Rest now, dear Chad, nestled in the peace of our Lord, your work accomplished, your race well run, and your crown of life awaiting you in Heaven. Amen.
