Clara Mae McArthur was born January 16, 1936 to Clara Bell Porter and Alphonzo Cooper in Ludowici Georgia. Clara was a mother to eight children, six boys and two girls. Her hobbies included cooking, and listening to music. Clara was one the greatest cook  on this side of Heaven. But what she truly enjoyed the most was being around her family. Clara's family was her heart. Clara Mae McArthur made her Heavenly transition on October 30, 2021.

Clara Preceded in death by; mother- Clara Bell Porter father Alphonzo Cooper, Brother- Jerry Porter, grandsons- Joseph king and Derrick King

Clara leaves to cherish her precious memories: Children- Graylon Knox, Victor Porter(Sonia Porter), James King jr, Larry King, Derrick King, Rene Martin, Lisa Thomas and John King ( Felicia); sister- Bessie Stafford; Brothers- Jerry Porter and Gregory Knox; Grandchildren-Victor ., Elbony, Zillah, ,Nathan (Takara), Antron ( Toria), Clevette (Kordrey), Tyesha, John, Bathsheba, Isiah, Lisa, Dominique, Nicole, Earl, Joshua, Adrian, Graylon III, Anna, Ciarra (Derek), Monekia ,and  Z'dreco.  And a host of great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and family and friends.

Viewing for Mrs. McArthur  will be Tuesday, November 9, 2021 from 5:00 - 7:00 pm

Services will be Wednesday, November 10, 2021 11:00 am at The Edith H Weston Memorial Chapel
