She is survived by a special niece, Ester Filmore, siblings, nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives who will carry her memory forward with great affection.

A funeral service to honor and celebrate Dorothy's life will be held on Saturday, May 23, 2026, beginning at 11:00 AM at Weston's Mortuary Chapel located at 3027 Myrtle Ave N, Jacksonville, FL 32209. Following the service, interment will take place immediately at Edgewood Cemetery.
