Freddie Lovon Thomas, affectionately known by many as "White Boy," passed away peacefully on August 4, 2026, in his hometown of Jacksonville, Florida. Born on September 28, 1959, also in Jacksonville, Freddie spent his entire life surrounded by the people, places, and memories that shaped his journey.

Freddie was the beloved child of the late Pleas and Calperta Thomas Sr. Growing up in a large and loving family, he formed lifelong bonds with his siblings.  His church affiliation was with St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church.  Freddie worked in the logistics industry as a truck driver for 30 years. His last assignment was in Euless, Texas with Tacan Transportation. 

Freddie’s legacy lives on in the hearts of all who knew him. His life story is woven from the fabric of devotion to family, enduring friendships, and a deep connection to his Jacksonville roots.

Family, friends, and all whose lives were touched by Freddie are invited to gather in remembrance and celebration of his life. A visitation will be held on Saturday, August 22, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Weston's Mortuary, located at 3027 Myrtle Ave N, Jacksonville, FL 32209. The funeral service will immediately follow at 11:00 AM at the same location.

Freddie Lovon Thomas will be dearly missed, but the love and fond memories he leaves behind will continue to resonate through the lives he touched. May his soul rest in peace, and may his family and friends find comfort in remembering his remarkable spirit.
