It is with profound sadness and heartfelt remembrance that we announce the passing of Jerelean Roberts, who left us on May 17, 2026, in Jacksonville, Florida. Born on February 22, 1934, in Naylor, Georgia, Jerelean graced this world for 92 years, living a life enriched with love, dedication, and warmth.
Jerelean devoted many years to the restaurant business, where her commitment and hard work left an impression on all who knew her. Her career was marked by a tireless spirit and a passion for serving others, qualities that shaped the way she touched the lives around her.
She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother — a beacon of love and strength to her family. Throughout her lifetime, the bonds she forged with her children, grandchildren, and beyond were filled with nurturing care, wisdom, and endless support. Jerelean’s legacy is carried forward in the hearts of those she cherished most.
A visitation to honor and remember her will take place on Friday, May 29, 2026, from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Weston's Mortuary, located at 3027 Myrtle Ave N, Jacksonville, FL 32209. The community and loved ones are invited to come together to share memories and pay respects.
Her funeral service will be held the following day, May 30, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Greater Hope Ministries Inc, at 925 Edgewood Ave W, Jacksonville, FL 32208. This service will celebrate Jerelean’s remarkable life and the enduring impact she has left on all who had the privilege to know and love her.
Jerelean Roberts’s journey through life was a testament to the power of love, perseverance, and family. She will be deeply missed but forever remembered with great affection and respect by her family — including her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren — whose lives she transformed with her presence.
