With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Sherrod Maurice Antoine Davis, who transitioned from this life on February 4, 2026, in Jacksonville, Florida.Sherrod was a soul whose presence left a lasting impression on all who knew him. He will be remembered for his unique spirit, his strength, and the love he shared with family and friends. His life, though too brief, was meaningful and impactful, and his memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved him.

A public viewing will be held on Friday, February 13, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Weston's Mortuary, located at 3027 North Myrtle Avenue, Jacksonville, Florida 32209, where family and friends may gather to pay their respects.

The celebration of life service will take place on Saturday, February 14, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at First United Methodist Church, 225 East Duval Street, Jacksonville, Florida 32206. This service will honor Sherrod's life, legacy, and the love he leaves behind.

Interment will immediately follow the service at Restlawn Cemetery South, where Sherrod will be laid to rest.

Though he may be gone from our sight, Sherrod Maurice Antoine Davis will never be gone from our hearts. His memory will live on through the love shared, the moments remembered, and the lives he touched.
