Obituary

William (Skip) Frank Grayson, Jr. was born in Jacksonville, Florida to the union of William Frank Grayson, Sr. and Adelle Alexander Grayson on December 26, 1961. He was the oldest of three siblings. William was educated in Jacksonville at St. Pius Catholic School (1974) and Bishop Kenny High School (1979). Upon graduation from high school, he matriculated to the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida. After studies at U.F. he made Gainesville his home until he returned to Jacksonville in 2016, after the death of his mother. He was a lifelong member of St. Pius V Catholic Church where as a youth he served as an alter boy, member of the Christian Youth Organization and a boyscout. William enjoyed U.F. sports, fishing, and golf. William is survived by his son and greatest joy, Gavin Alexander Grayson, his sister Jo Ann Grayson Walker (Willie), nephews Christopher Austin Grayson, Willie (Jay) Walker, III, niece Olivia Adelle Walker, Aunts: Gertrude (Trudy) Alexander Ulmer, Tillie Alexander Foster, and Deloris Grayson. William is preceded in death by his mother, Mrs. Adelle Alexander Grayson, father, Mr. William Frank Grayson, Sr., brother, Mr. Stephen Austin Grayson and niece, Bailey Camille Grayson.rch Viewing will take place on Thursday at July 15, 2021, 5pm to 7pm at Weston's Mortuary. 3027 North Myrtle Avenue, Jacksonville, Florida 32209.
