Willie George Jenkins Jr. passed away on September 1, 2026, in Jacksonville. He was born on August 17, 1955, in Jacksonville, Florida.

Mr. Jenkins will be remembered with love by his family and all who knew him. He is survived by his daughter, Latonya Jenkins (Mike), and his son, Jeremy Jenkins. He also leaves behind his granddaughter, Ariel Edwards, whose life carries forward his memory in a special way. He is further survived by his sister, Mary Thomas, and his brother, Michael Jenkins. Together, they mourn his passing while holding close the bond of family and the memories they shared with him.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Irene and George Jenkins, and by his brother, Donald Jenkins, and sister, Alice Davis. Their memories remain an enduring part of his family’s story and of the life that shaped him.

Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation on September 11, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Weston’s Mortuary, 3027 Myrtle Ave N, Jacksonville, FL 32209. A funeral service will be held on September 12, 2026, at 12:00 p.m., also at Weston’s Mortuary.
