Dr. Brenda Marie Squire

Dr. Brenda Marie Argrett Squire was born on February 19, 1951.Brenda Marie Argrett Squire received a Bachelor of Science degree, a Masters Degree in
Administration and a Doctorate Degree in Administration. She worked as a science teacher, physical educator, and administrator. She was a member of Delta sorority line “Hot Fun 21”.
Brenda Squire graduated from William M. Raines in 1968. She matriculated to Dillard University and earned a Bachelors of Science Degree in Science and Physical Education in 1972. She later attended University of North Florida where she earned a Masters and Doctorate Degree in Administration and Supervision. She received her real estate brokers license and
sold houses for over 20 years. On May 27, 2001, she earned another doctorate in philosophy in Christian Education from Jacksonville Theological Seminary. She served as a volunteer for
several years at the Orange Park Medical Center and became the president of The Volunteer Auxillary. Also, she volunteered at Baptist Hospital for several years. Brenda was preceded in death by her parents, Leroy and Marie Argrett, and brothers, Micheal Johnson, Eddie Glenn and Henry Lee. She leaves to cherish her memories: her spouse, Ernesto R. Squire, Sr.; children, Scherrie L. Squire, Ernesto R. Squire, Jr., and Ja’Vania Harrison; sisters, Marian (Phillip) Douglas, Shirley Jean-Francois, and Linda Thomas; sister-in-law, Ruthann Johnson; brothers, Charles (Claudia) Lee, Thomas Lee, Fredrick (Sarah) Rafford, Royce Lee, and Ronnie (Odessa) Ingram; Delta Sigma Theta Sorority “Hot Fun 21” Fall 1969, Dillard University, Sandra Wiggins, Wanda Hogan Stroughter, Juanita Burks Steward, Josulyn Mitchell Williams, Arlette Record, Carol Earls Franklin, Angela Merriweather Mason, Sharon Singleton, Joan Anderson, Brenda Argrett Squire, Winifred Burks, Marzett Cooper Robinson, Linda Goings, Catherlene Hadrick Shepard, Sandra L. Henderson, Carol Johnson McLaurin, Shioney Lyons, Norma McClendon, Wanda Merchant, Marilynn Sims Gordon, and Sandra Woods Jones; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be Thursday, July 16, 2020 at The Edith H Weston Memorial Chapel from 5:00 to 7:00 pm

Mrs. Squire can also be viewed on Friday from 5:00-7:00

Graveside Service will be Saturday, July 18, 2020 at Evergreen Cemetery at 10:00 am
