Jason Kyan Knox’s journey began August 30th,1977, and was fulfilled August 25th, 2021, in Jacksonville FL. Born to Ramona Smith Raysor and the late Leon Knox, he welcomed God into his life at an early age. Educated in Duval County Schools, he lived freely, untethered to the materials of this world, truly connected to the energies, experiences, and blessings that life gives.
A renowned prankster, he indulged in his passions for traveling, music, art, nature, and love; never neglecting the opportunity to share the light of his soul with others. These few words aren’t enough to honor him, but they speak on the heart of a son, a brother, a tradesman, a lover, a father, and a friend, who will be more than missed. Jason is preceded in death by his father Leon Knox, grandparents Lee and Frances Knox, uncles Sidney Smith and Thomas Rankin and daughter Chanelle Knox.
He is survived by his mother Ramona Raysor, daughter Jaleah Knox, his siblings Amy Knox, Karatona Smith, Nicole Knox, Ana Hooks, Chris, David, Tianna, and Grace Raysor, his grandmother Ann Willis, his Aunts Frankie (Benny), Annie (Russell), Verdith, Mercenia Aikins, Uncles Coy Lee, Clarence(Maudlin), Lee Jr., Lewis (Mary Ellen), along with a host of relatives and friends
